Peer Listeners (Anti-Bullying Team- God Values All his Children)

At Queen’s Park CE/URC we value safe, fun and happy play times. As a School Council, we decided that we could help our play times become even better if we have Peer Mentors on hand to help.

A Queen’s Park Peer Mentors Mission:

*To be a valued member of our school, upkeeping with the school rules and being a role model.

*Promote our Christian values.

*Help build positive interactions.

*To make the playground an ‘OUTSTANDING’, ‘SAFE’, ‘AMAZING’ place.

*To help sort out small issues to reduce staff pressure.

*To be impartial when pupils fall out.

*To prevent bullying.

What do we do?

*We show love and compassion and take hurt children to first aid. Any serious incidents we inform staff members.

*We show and model forgiveness and honesty by helping resolve friendship fall-outs.

*Give out toys to everyone at play times and teach younger children how to play.

How can I find Peer Mentor?

All Peer Mentors have an orange fluorescent jacket with the school badge and wear a handy child lanyard.
