Time flies when you're working hard!

I can't believe that we are already three weeks in to our new school year! Time flies when you're working hard. 

This week has been the best yet. In maths, we have been putting our addition and subtraction skills to the test using the formal column method. The children really have impressed me with this and have got some more questions to complete for their homework. Why not work with them over the weekend so that they can impress you to! 

Our English lessons have been a particular highlight for me. We have been writing a letter from the perspective of Duncan to those cheeky crayons! The work the children have produced has been AMAZING! I will post some examples of the great work on Monday. 

In our science lesson we have been classifying animals in preparation for our bug hunt in the forthcoming weeks. The children are really excited about this! 

We have finished the week in a great way today by playing our clarinets in our music lesson. 

Well done to Lucy who won our star badge award this week for a fabulous piece of writing!
