The Day the Crayons Quit

Our reading focus for this half term is the brilliant book 'The Day the Crayons Quit' which is written by Drew Daywalt and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. The children are loving the book so far and have produced some great writing based around some of the characters from the book this week. I am hoping for many more good pieces of writing to come from it. I can't wait for the children to read about the 'Peach Crayon'... They are in for a real treat! 

There have been some strange things going on around our classroom this week. We have been recieving letters from a rogue pack of crayons who are disgruntled to say the least. Take a look at what they have been saying. Monday morning should be an interesting one.
