Date: 8th Jan 2016 @ 1:44pm
Happy New Year! Welcome back!
We have had lots of fun this week in class. On Tuesday we watched the pantomime 'Dick Wittington.' We had lots of fun joining in with singing, laughing at the jokes and shouting at the bad pirate.
This week saw the start of our Arts Fortnight and we begn to look at the country of Japan. We have found out lots of interesting facts. In class we have made mountains using boxes to look like the Japanese landscape and took a trip on the bullit train, we even made pretty fans to cool us down we get hot.
We have also looked at some animials that live on a mountain in Japan, snow monkeys. We are looking forward to finding out more next week.

Hello Everyone,
Welcome to our first blog!
We recieved a special message all the way from the North Pole this week, who do you think it was from? Have a look and watch with your child.
Then a special helper arrived. He keeps hiding around our classrooms and school getting up to mischief. Ask your child to tell you about our Elf.
We are busy practising for our Nativity. Look out next week for us looking fabulous in our costumes! Come and watch our performance on Wednesday 16th December at 9.30am.

Buddy Assembly , by Mrs Kellett
Date: 30th Sep 2015 @ 11:00pm
Thank you to everyone that came along today to share in our Buddy assembly. This is a very special scheme we run at Queen's Park. Our Y6 children are paired up with our Reception children for the full year. They do lots of different activities together to support our Reception children in their first year of 'big' school.
It is a big responsibility and one I know our year six children will live up to

Please check out the following link to read an article in the Mirror online about our school. Mrs Sharkey, our deputy head and leader of EYFS, had a wonderful idea to provide each parent of our new reception children with a 'Survival Kit' to help them through their day.
