Hello all,
Thank you all for supporting us this week with our Nativity. We hope you enjoyed it! All of your super hard work really payed off with two great shows! Well done to all children involved - It takes a lot of confidence to get up on stage and perform!
Happy Birthday to both Leah Cannon and Ryley Newman who both turned 7 this week!
Congratulations to our Star Badge winner, Amber Walsh gor having a 'can do' attitude toward everything and being a fantastic midwife in our Nativity! Well Done Amber!

Hello everyone,
This week we have been looking at a poem called 'the star' by Jane Taylor. We have also been getting into the Christmas spirit today by writing our letters to Father Christmas.
In Maths, we have been learning how to measure different objects as well as each other.
Congratulations to Ethan Austin for earning our star badge this week for a super improvement in his attitude towards schoolwork and being an all round superstar! Well Done Ethan!
Happy Birthday to Ethan Clarke and Emma Frodsham who turned 7 this week!

Hello again,
This week we have been learning about Armstice Day. Well done to our Beavers who went to the Town Hall to remember the soldiers who died in both world wars, and in more recent conflicts.
In Art we have been learning how to add tints and tones to paint. We looked at the artist Paul Klee and his painting Separation in the Evening. Here are two examples. Google Paul Klee to see what a good job they have done!

Hello,
This week we have been learning about Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder plot. We had some wonderful writing during Big Write. Lots more children are doing their Big Talk homework. Great news!
We have also been doing painting this week and have been learning to mix primary colours to make secondary colours. At the moment, we're in the middle of making bonfire pictures and we'll upload some photographs when we're finished.
Today we went to a special assembly for Armistice Day. We observed two minutes silence. The children displayed excellent behaviour and I was proud of them.
I apologise for no blog last week, I did do one but it didn't appear.

Hello again,
We've come to the end of another very busy week. Well done to all our children for working hard and making me proud, you're all super stars!
Just to keep you up to speed, we're on the move again. We're heading back to our old Y1 classroom. We'll keep you informed as to when we can finally settle permanently.
A special well done this week to Maisie Ashton for doing some super work in her Reading Journal.
Well done to Samuel Ayi for being a super speller and receiving his first star badge for blue team in Y2.
Congratulations to Evie Hull who was 7 this week. Happy birthday from all of the team.

Hello again,
Look out for our class Dojos, they're coming soon when I learn how to do them! I'll let you know when your child has something great to celebrate in class.
This week we been learning to join two ideas in sentences using conjunctions. Well done to Lucianne Horsley for being the Conjunction Queen. She received our star certificate this week.
Happy birthday to Maisie Ashton. Maisie is 7 on Saturday. We know she's so excited because she's been telling us all week.

Hello again,
On Tuesday we had a great day in class. It was International Day of Languages. We had so much fun finding out about Germany. We learned about the Greman flag. We also learned a few German words and phrases.
In the afternoon we danced the Waltz and tasted German food. Here are a few pictures of our favourite moments.

Hello,
Sorry that there was no blog last week - we're still learning! This week we have been trying really hard to use lead in lines in our writing.
Well done to Connor Wilson for receiving a star badge for excellent reading.
Happy Birthday to Lola Shaw who turned 7 this week.
Don't forget to come dressed in red, black and yellow for International Day of Languages.
Also, it's our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September.

Welcome to P2. We have had a lovely week in our class this week. We have been learning about the countries of the U. K. Ask your children, I bet they can tell you. Also we're learning a new handwriting style. The children will be able to show you this too.
Here is a picture of us at the end of our first week. We'll take one at the end of the year to see how much we have grown!

The X MEN team were the winners of the Infant sports day. Well done Isaac, Anthony, Harvey, Paige, Ethan, Dylan, Frazer,, Gina, Grace, Bradley and Ethan! You all worked really hard as a team and made sure you did your part to earn our fantastic 297 points. Thank you to all the grown ups who cheered us on and followed us around the field.

On TUesday we had a lovely time all dressed up as pirates. Don't forget to save your costumes as we will be having a party at the end of term.
BIg write will be on THursday this week instead of Friday,thank you to the parents who have took the time and trouble to sit and talk with them, it really helps when they have to write.

The last week of the school term normally means lots of intra school competition to give our children the opportunity to apply the skills they have learnt into really life situations. This week year 6 had a kiwi cricket and rounders tournament, year 5 boys had a rugby competition and year 2P and 3Q had a Benchball competition. Well done to all involved....

This week we performed our dances to a huge audience of parents and friends.Year One performed their Under the Sea dance first. The Year Two children then performed their Lion King dance. The KS2 dance club then performed their Joseph and his technicolour dream coat dance for us. Our dances had been choreographed by our dance teacher Emma. The children were fantastic and made all their teachers very proud. Well done children.
