Homework expectations

Homework:

Maths and English homework will be set every Friday. Some of the Year 6 homework will be online activities, if you do not have the internet we will print out the relevant sheets.

Spellings:

Your child will be given spellings each week. Spellings will also be given out on a Friday and their spelling test will be on the following Friday.

Reading:

Home reading is essential and should be completed four times per week.  Reading records should be brought into school daily.

Times tables:

Being fluent in times tables up to 12 x 12 is essential to support mathematical understanding in Year 6.
